Bridger. Again. But a little different this time.
My dad has always loved wolves. He had a pet wolf, once - no, it did not last long. Still, his bachelor pad was decorated in mostly wolf decor and so I was always fascinated with them. I always wanted to see one and finally got that chance in September 2021.
In 2022, I got to visit Yellowstone National Park for the second time - in spring. Once again, we traveled to my absolute favorite place to visit, the Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center in West Yellowstone, Montana. The only downside to spring at the center is the wolves are shedding their winter coats. This means they look super fluffy and have a ton of clumpy hair everywhere. Instead of being able to digitally paint the hair like I normally would, I have to use even smaller strokes on the pen to avoid making him more fluffy than he actually is.
No worries. I think this turned out awesome. It's got the look of graphite. Even better, I'm offering this exclusively on wood print. I love black and white prints on wood - and if you look at the sample images provided by the lab, you'll see why. It's almost as if the art was made on the wood, since the white doesn't print.
