First Light on Electric Peak

NOTE: Watermarks do not print on the image. It is for online safeguarding only.

It was cold, it was beautiful, and it was only momentary. The clouds moved in and the light never illuminated the peak. But I won't complain one bit.

The fog was lifting a little bit and the elk were out and about. The bear, however...may or may not have been there.

I wanted something with a bear in it and I wanted it to not be digital art. Instead, I used a bear I photographed at another, less pretty location and just dropped him here. I did enhance and blend him in a bit better, including adding shadow and detail. I also matched pixel-depth.

If I hadn't told you, you'd have never known, and that's also why I love this one so much. I have it hanging in my own house in the living room on as a 20x40 and to me, even that is too small.

Available as a canvas, metal, or acrylic print.
