Grizzly Bear - Print and Canvas

Finally getting to use the digital art brushes I made with real life colored pencils was so much fun. This is one of the grizzly bears at the Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center in West Yellowstone, Montana (if you've ever been then you know this is Bo). Bo is such a poser. He knows exactly where and when to be in the enclosure during his times.
In fact, this was his first frame for me of the day. He was looking directly over at me - and I wasn't even at his enclosure area. I was snapping away fast and loose so that I could make sure I got that perfect perch and stare from him to work with. Typically at these places I don't use the actual photographic imagery - too many distractions (like fences and trash cans) so I knew I'd be making something from the images.
Bo puts on a show. He likes to play and show off so to get him nice and calm and majestic is awesome, taking full advantage.
I styled the artwork as if it were colored pencils and added the Tetons behind him before digitally painting over them with the same brushes.
Available as several framed fine art Torchon prints and gallery wrap canvas.
