Palo Duro Canyon, Texas - Metal

Late afternoon in Palo Duro. This was my first trip to the canyon and it was pretty cool. I didn't know that this was even something Texas had to offer, which should tell you how innocent I was on my first visit.

I didn't get to spend a whole lot of time there and the clouds were, for the most part, keeping me from capturing good light direction. then the clouds parted just enough for me to get this diffused landscape of the cliffs and trees.

I love Texas! It goes: Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, Texas. In that order. This just adds to my love affair with the Lone Star State.
