Bison in Lamar Valley Winter - Print

It was about -16 on this morning and a fresh snow was falling through Lamar Valley. It was overcast with the sun barely peeking through on the rare occasion that it wasn't entirely diffused.

Sometimes we'd be riding by a location and see a big boulder covered in snow. Then the boulder would turn its head and look at us as bits of snow fell from its face. Of course, it was bison. Nature is amazing and cruel.
