Colorado Pelicans in Morning Light
NOTE: Watermarks do not print on the image. It is for online safeguarding only.
My friends and I were on our way with an early morning start (4:30 am leaving their house and they weren't as excited as I was). We had already been driving for about 2 hours as we had to go all the way around to the west entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. My friend wanted to stop here because there are always pelicans and sure enough, there they were. A lot of them. For me, my favorite view were these four. It just tells a story of three pelicans that are normal and one that is not. Kind of like family. All of mine are normal except for me. I'm the second from the left, there.
I loved the color of the morning blue light, too. There were a ton of ducks out and about and I wish I could have stayed another hour or two but we needed to look for moose (didn't find any). Oh well, I guess that means I'm going to have to go back AGAIN (insert sarcastic tone).
Available on Canvas, Acrylic, and Metal.
Gloss Metal: Printed on white base metal, the colors are true-toned and vibrant, with none of the metal sheen and texture showing through.
Clear Metal: Printed on clear base metal, the colors are vibrant and a metal sheen and aluminum texture shines through both highlight and shadow. An amazing addition to modern homes, this is the preferred surface from me.
