Whitetail Buck in Tall Grass - Print or Canvas

Another Colorado whitetail buck on the reserve. Couldn't have asked for a better afternoon light on the animals we found. This buck was enjoying some time with a doe as we were riding by and he stopped to look at us.

It was a good moment to get because they're constantly moving during the rut and it's not often they'll give you their attention - on the preserve, anyway. Here in Alabama, they are in the woods and hard to find on our property. But when you're in a preserve where they've never heard the sound of gunfire, you get all the magic you need.

I'm always thankful to my friends in Colorado for riding me around all the good spots.
